Turda Salt Mine is now available on Google Street View



This month, Google and Turda Salt Mine has launched Google Maps platform with Street View panoramic photos. This event has announced the availability of one of the most spectacular Romanian sights on Google Maps, but also, in Rudolph Mine from Turda Salt Mine, there were marked five years of Google Maps in Romania.
The hosts of the event were Maria Simona Baciu – the salt mine’s manager, Google Country Manager Romania, Mr. Dan Bulucea and other representatives of the department Google Street View Program.
Turda Salt Mine is the first collection of Street View underground images in Romania and one of the few of its kind in Europe. Currently, the salt mine is one of the most attractive sights of Romania, with visitors from all over the world. Its popularity has increased steadily, reaching records the last year.
